class

I read, write, and learn best when i am doing something with my hands. I prefer to read alone because i learn better that way and i can go at my own past. No, because i didn't blog everyday like i was suppose to. Yes, i did comment on other post but i didn't put many on there. No, i got to know them better in person than on the blog. I haven't matured this year i have been the same person as before. Yes, i will continue to write and read this summer.Yes, i would write on the blog if it was still available. My goals for naxt year is to get my reading grade up and to write betteer. I don't know what my goals are in ten years. I started my early years being excited because I had one of the most awesomest teachers ever. When it came to first grade i was petrafide of the teacher because she was so mean to me and some of the otheer kids. I haven't matured over the years. My habits as a student are not doing my work unless i like the teacher that is teaching the subject or if I don't get it i won't do it or ask anyone for help. I don't really have any expectations for school except for this year because i have to do good in order to stay in high school. Well, thats what my caseworker says. I will take that even if someone judges you they have low self esteem if they make fun of you or even talk badly about you and its not worth getting mad or sad about it.I will remember that the people got to know one another and they actually got along.

My most memorable class project was the one about the guy from NYC about the football player there was SOOOO MUCH PASSION in that project. My most memorable book was by far twisted it was one of the best books i have ever read. My most memorable writing was the one about the old guy who couldn't read. I LEARN THE BEST WHEN I CAN SEE WHAT I'M DOING BECAUSE I CANT LEARN BY JUST LISTENING. I prefer to read alone so i can go at my pace and stop to think about the book at anytime. Yes i do. Miss James,I think you are the greatest reading teacher in the whole school but well I guess you are now.I wanted to tell you too many stuff about the way I read but i guess I have to go steps by steps then..The way that I read in your reading class is to participates on every words that are very similar to each text,the way that I write is to listen to you and looked at what kind of passage are you telling us or me to do and then we are going to write about it,and the way that I learn best is the way of reading all the passages or words is to help me to communicate with all my classmates and the reason why is that is because I wanted to learn more of reading skills from every teacher who is teaching reading especially to you too Miss James,I wanted to learn more of the reading powers because it is very important to me and it is my knowledge to take reading because I wanted to speak more of English.It's depended on the teacher if the groups are going to works on groups or work alone because sometimes when you and your friends wanted to hat about something when you guys are working in groups together.OH yes,I think I did participate in the weblog stuffs because I like the way we read and then posting them.I did comment on other posts and the posts are really awesome and it have good compliment words.I did get to know a few students in the class and also in the blog and it is great to greet other people.The way I matured as a student is being participate on every class that I take and yes I have matured.I really love to continue reading this summer because it really does help me with my reading skills and everything.My goals for next year is to get good grades on every class that I have and to get involves on every single thing that are very hard but I have to pass it.My goals for in the ten years is getting my degrees at my high school and try to get in college if that is okay with the people who work there.My first day of my high school was okay and it was fun.

Summer school has been a fun ride for me. i have made new friends and learned tons! i have read new books and actually enjoyed them! the first time you said pleasure reading i thought "theres no way!" now i actually believe in pleasure reading. i take reading as a fun thing now. not torture! my reading and writing is so much beter now. i can read fluent and remember what i read about. i like reading in a group. its fun to take turns. i also like blogging and commenting and my friends bloggs! there fun to read. i learned so much about other people and there abilities. matured? me? ALOT! i have matured alot because in summer school we had to do alot of things on our own and that made us independent. i actually do think i will continue to read. writing? Not so Much but alot of reading. i will also do little updates on blogger every now and then. My goals for next year are to not only play basketball and volleyball. but to make a deference on the team. i also want to make great grades and make alot of friends! my future goals are to go to collage and get my masters then try and be a marriage counselor. i love helping people and working out problems and this just seems perfect for me!! Even when i was younger i loved helping people. i was also a good friend maker. the first day of head start i was friends with everybody and always made them smile! i was always excited to go to school. i was the crazy friend that would always take risk. no matter how bad they would turn out. now i have learned to think before i do and make wiser decisions. school is how you make it. if you go in with a good mood then it will be a blast! if you go in closed minded then its horrible. Letter of Self-Assessment

Dear Ms. James,
The most memorable part of this class was QUAN ALERT!!!!!!!!! Another most memorable part of this class would be the people in it, I had a great time with my new friends Taylar and Joslynn.
The way I learn the best is to see what I am doing and then for someone to show me how to do it, then I will be able to do it myself. I prefer to read alone because then I can take as much time as I need to comprehend things and so I can go at my own pace. I did particapate in the classroom by posting and commenting on other posts. I think that I did learn more about the other students by reading the blog. During the summer I do not think I will continue to write.I will not continue to write on the blog because I am very busy. My goals for the next year are to keep my grades up and to get involved in clubs at my high school. My goals for the next ten years is to graduate high school and college and to get started in a career.
During my early years as a student I was quiet and didn't like school at all. My first day of school was at Mcbride elementry and I was so tired I came home and went straight to sleep. I was not excited to go to school at all. I am a smart yet quite student. From this class i will take an understanding of how to understand text better.

in the summer of 1968 mexico was having some major student movements. the student movements were happening all over the world, including france, germany, italy, czechoslovakia, argentina, japan, and the united states. the students were protesting about how much violence was being usedby the police officers and

military personel. the massacre happened at the tlatelolco housing complex. students were protesting when one of the military snipers shot into the middle of the crowd. then the rest of the officers started shooting, thinking that the students were the one that shot. eyewitnesses say they saw the military dragging bodies off in huge military trucks back to the base. but the government didnt do anything about it. only about forty names have been recovered of the student protestors, and there is still alot they havnt gotten yet.

Outside my head, the hate burns my skin and i can feel the malice in my veins.

And if you lie there and watch as the hate unleashes itself and the malice shows, you too will begin to loath.

And all around you, you will notice that the hate is what makes everybody a little bit impure on the inside.

And toward the end, the onlything that we will have left is the HATE.

There is no basketball so hard, so fierce, so tiering, and so aggresive then competitive girl basketball. There are point gaurds that dribble by you so fast, you wouldnt even know what hit you. There are fans, that scream go go go as you go in for the wide open layup! If your one of those people who cant shoot under pressure, then youll miss everytime. In the halls, the fans shake your hand as you run to the water fountain. on the other teams side you hear people saying "boo you suck". you wonder why they cant just have fun! If you just focus, then youll only hear positive things telling you to keep going. all around you in a competitive ball court, you hear hooping and halloring as you score the winning point. All your teamates hug you! A mom congratulates her daughter as the loosing teams turns the other way. towards the end, one man will give the winning team a trophy and celebrate. The stands will then clear out, the lights will dem and all teams will go home. as the students lay in there bed they will think about the long day they had!

So far in my book Naomi went to a party got drunk and called her dad and he came and picked her up. She saw that there was a lady in the front seat and she smelled like flowers. She didn't know that she was her dads fiance. She wakes up the next morning and has a hangover even though she only drinked one beer and the only reason it did that to her is because she has a major head trama.

Yellow Line

This yellow line book is like a seriously book to me because it's a book that like a real book to make people believe but this book is really about white kids and Indians kids that are really not making friends to each other but sometime because whenever they walk on the other side of the road,they looked on the road and they saw the yellow line and they don't what it is..They wanted to know what is the yellow line for...These kids are so puzzled because they don't know what is the yellow line is.Those kids in this book are like kids from like the years of 60's because they don't know what are the things that are happening around and they just kept on going on.

INEXCUSABLE

I am now and forever done with my book INEXCUSABLE. It was a good book and, i liked it. it shows you how a good guy can do some bad things even though he is a good guy. Keir (the main character in my story) is graduating high school and wants to have the best graduation and prom ever. Keir has a good prom and spends it with his best friend, Gigi Boudanki. Gigi, however has a boyfriend and yet Keir still tries to get with her. When graduation comes along, Keir, wants his sisters there but, they are having exams and tell him and Ray (Keirs' father but they call him Ray) that they arent going to be able to make it. Then, on graduation day Keir decides that he will get Rays cousin, Rollo, to drive him around in his stretch limo and pick up people he knows and then drive through KFC and get food and have drinks. Rollo takes him to his friends graduation party and he goes in there and him and hi friends on the football team grab him and pull him into a room and his friend has drugs in there like, pills, cocaine, and other things. In the end, Keir and Gigi decide to go to the football players secret house thing and sleep there for the night which makes Keir kiss Gigi (while shes sleeping) and does the "naughty" with her, all while she is still asleep.

now i know my book is over muhammad ali but, smokin joe frazier was ali's biggest rival. these guys would go at it till the last rounds of a fight, neither wanting to give up. joe frazier was a smart, hard hitting, brawler. he was one of the few that beat muhammad ali for the heavy weight champion chip. they had three bouts joe frazier won one and ali won two. there last fight as boxers were against each other. they had put everything they had into it, muhammad ali came out on top with the most points.

This book is basicaly about a girl and she has no memories at all. She realizes that Two guys are chasing her, and that she has the power to wish for something to happen and it happens. She ends up helping this group of friends by getting their friend back from another world. This is a series by Lynne Ewing called Daughters of the Moon. I enjoyed reading this book, and i will continue to read this series!

Know to the book Miracle Wimp is a bout a complete loser in highschool whos nickname is Miracle Wimp because his last name is Mayo. The book basically tells abouut all the stuff that they ddo in school. I would HIGHLY recommed this to anyonewho likes stuipid stuff.

In the end of the book Tianna comes out of a club, and then she is drugged and taken to a very old basement with her boyfriend Derek. When Tianna wakes up she uses her power to untangle herself and Derek, then they try to find a way out of the basement, and they do thanks to Tianna's power. Then they try to make a break for it, but the guys that were chasing her take her to the beach to have a seance. While at the beach Tianna realizes that Vanessa, Serena, and Jimena are all their and Derek was their to. The girls fight the followers while trying to save Catty from the other dimension. When they finaly get Catty back they all go for a walk to their friend and the person who is guiding them trough there life, ad this persons name is Mary. David told his teachers that he has been getting beat up by his mom. He gets sent to a foster home meets a woman named Aunt Mary. On page 44 he has a bad dream about his mother trying to kill him with a knife.

The first chapter is that the kids were puzzling.The whites were on the other side and the Indians were on the other side of the other..They were walking on the streets and looking at each other..I've never read this book so far but I'm sure that I'll get through all of the whole chapters.

TRICKS

I have finished TRICKS. The book was about 5 teenagers who turn tricks or (in other words) prostitute. The story in the book is that all of the teenagers (3 girls 2 guys. 2 bisexual 1 gay 2 straight.) are looking to find love. They all find love but end up turning tricks. In the end all of them connect to one another through the person that they are prostituting for. Some get addicted to drugs. One gets pimped. One gets denied by their father for their sexuality. One gets help. I would like for all of you to just go and read the book because i know this is not a very good post but really i dont care. The book has made me think about why people would ever do that. Read the book.

muhammad ali was originally known as cassius clay before he changed his name, after he won his first heavywieght championchip. he was a 3 time heavy weight champion, and in my head the greatest boxer ever to play the sport. he would mess with your head, constantly tellin you that you were ugly, and predicting what round he was knock you out in. he was quick on his feet and had some of the fastest hands. you could land a big blow on him, but by the time you hit him he would have already hit you 3 times. he most famous line is "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee." if you havnt read the book the "greatest: muhammad ali", then you should, its a really good book. just finished it last night.

Next David found a doughnut shop but it was closed then he smelt pizza. Down the street there was a pizza bar he went inside stole a quarter got caught gave it back said he was hungry. Got a drink from a guy named Mark. Mark called the cops David left with the cop went down to the station told the cop where he lived and told the cop what his number was his dad came downand then told them what happened which was really a lie. David and his dad went home and thats how the chapter ends. i'll read more to find out what happens next. This guy makes me sick. And his doesn't even stand up for himself or david. The mom she is just out there she punishes david for no reason.

When Tianna gets home she runs into her neighbor, who invites Tianna over for dinner and a seance. Tianna is hesitant at first, but then realizes that she is really hungry, so she decides to go. After dinner, they have a seance, and during the seance Tianna decides to help her neighbor by acting like she is her neighbor dead dog. While trying to act like the dog Tianna slips into a different world, and meets Catty, because Catty was sent into this world in the last book. Tianna then trys to go back to the house that she visited earlier. In this house she saw a lady, a boy, and a girl. The girl sees her and yell her name, then she meets the lady, and the lady tells her what she knows about Tianna. This book gets more interesting as it goes on.

In this section of the book Tianna learns that she is on the soccer team, and that she took Catty's spot, because Catty has disappeared. While playing in a game Tianna gets hurt by the other teams goalie, and wishes that the goalie would break her ankle, and the goalie does. Tianna goes to the nurse because her nose was bleeding, and while in the nurse's office Tianna looks at her file. In the file it showed Tianna's address, so Tianna went to the address and while she was there two guys started to chase her. But, while she was in the house she found a diary, she took the diary to read later. The guys continued to chase her until she ran into Jemina. This is what has happened in my book today.

Jude gets into fights and nearly gets expelled until he starts boxing. Everybody at Judes' new school thinks he is cool and the only people that ignore him are Nick and the "cool kids". then one day Nick comes up to jude and asks him if he can get some weed and Jude says no until the next day Jude goes up to Nick and says that he can.

Tianna Moore" When she read this she was confused because she didn't know who wrote this or who Tianna was. Tianna goes to school and finds out more about herself, throughout the day, and learns more about others in her school.

Daughters of the Moon Book 5 The Sacrifice

In this part of the book Stanton is trying to save Serena form another follower, because Stanton likes Serena. In the processes of trying to save Serena, Stanton changes from a follower to a regular person. Also, while trying to save Serena Stanton kills a follower named Lambert. Lambert was the one trying to kill Serena, but now all Lambert can do is take over Serena's body with his spirit. While Lambert was trying to take over Serena's body, Stanton thought the only way to save her was to change back to a follower, so he changed back to a follower. This was a great book, and I enjoyed reading it;)

JUDE 2

Well, so far in the book Jude has had to talk to detectives about his fathers murder. As i get further into the book I learn the truth about what happened and how Judes' father was muredered and why. The book is very interesting and has many twists to keep you happy. I hope you will enjoy my future posts.

sticks ans stones is a great book for teenage girls to read. It teaches you how to take in rumors and move on. jujube is a freshmen and lives with her mom, her Friend and her moms Friend. she goes to a valentines day dance with her secret crush and he is very popular. He brings her out to his car and makes a move. she pushes him away and suggest they should go back to the dance! he gets mad and him and his guy Friends start to spread rumors about her. she feels like dieng, until her and her Friend Carlos take a stand and do a school project on teen bullying and rumors. As they work on their project together, her and carlos become real close. Two weeks later they present it and it opens up alot of teenage eyes and shows them how much it hurts to have rumors spread about you. exspecially if there not true...

In book 6 of the series, it is about the daughters of the moon, and a follower of the atrox. The follower's name is Stanton, and the daughters of the Moon's name are Vanessa, Catty, Serena, and Jimena. The daughters are trying to destroy the atrox, and the followers of the atrox which includes Stanton. Stanton is having a hard time learing how to be a follower of the atrox, and with life. I enjoy reading this series, and I hope to finish it:)

This book is barely about one sister and one brother who's been sustaining each other through the years,and also they often argued about what each other insist on doing.Every time when there is a phone call,lulu wanted to call a boy instead of the father.lulu's real name is Louise but everyone call her lulu.Lulu's brother Denny was writing everything down that was lulu was doing everyday because she always assert herself and for the reason why lulu brother do this is because is his own testimony in any case if anything happens.what i like about this book is that this brother is really good of taking care of her sister lulu if anything happens to her.

goyahkla (geronimo) was a bedonkohe apache indian. (june 16, 1829-feburary 17, 1909) so far in the book, i have learned that geronimo hated the mexicans for bringing so much sadness in his life. a bunch of mexican soldiers went to his village and murdered 20 apache indians and captured 62 apaches. amoung the 20 that were murdered, were his wife, brother, cousin, and his three children. he swore he would get revenge.

I choose this book because i read some of the passage, and I like what I read.I thought that this book was just right for me. But once I started to read more I realized that I wasn't comprehending any of it, so I decided that I would quit reading it and syart to read a different book.

I am reading Identical because the auther wirtes about how my life went and how it all started. It started when she was a nice calm girl and she went to her fathers for the summer and she changed her life completly all because of pot. After she came back from her dads she was a rude and hateful girl who was aways on the weed but she got through it. The book Identical is going on in the 5th book and it talks about how she went to rehab and got off the pot after her mother caught her doing it.

I'm reading a book now called The Art of Racing in the Rain. I chose it because it's a dog story. . .The narrator is a dog. I know it's going to rip my heart out because the dog is very old and the owner loves him very much.

why i am reading geronimo

I am reading Geronimo because he is one of my ancestors. my grandma and I where talking yesterday, and she was telling me about my Native American heritage. I asked her a bunch of questions about our family tree, and she surprised me by telling me that Geronimo was one of our ancestors. so I decided to get some information on him. so I checked out a book from the library.
