Background on author: Born in 1985, the same year Slayer released their album, Hell Awaits. Chris's first book, Heavy Metal and you, was published in 2005, the summer before his junior year at Wsleyan University, where he majored in theater. He lives in New York City and all of his books take place there. Smoking is bad for him.

Summary of the book: Book is about a boy with an anger problem. A different anger problem than most. Lockes' anger acts like a whole other person and always pesters him. Locke is in love with a goth girl named Renee and his biggest inspiration is his little brother Lon.

Recommendation: To people that like deep, dark books and/or anger problems. haha.
