"Im selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you cant handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell dont deserve me at my best." Marilyn Monroe was probably one the hardest working actresses in the 1940's. In her free time she was eager to learn the movie business, she would report to the studio lot to visit the different departments and ask questions about lighting, wardrobe, makeup, publicity, and all the other aspects of the movie business. Determined to become a star, Monroe did everything possible to develop into a well-rounded actress. She seriously studied plays and took lessons in acting, voice, and dance.
